Starting January 1, 2027, it will be mandatory for all bookable enterprises in Norway to send electronic invoices (e-invoices) in a standard format to other reporting entities.

From January 1, 2030, this requirement will be expanded, obligating you to use a fully digitized accounting system and to receive e-invoices.

The background for these new rules is to streamline administrative processes and strengthen the fight against financial crime.
